Terry was born and raised in San Francisco, CA (fifth generation native) and still considers it one of the most beautiful cities in the world. She moved to Sacramento, CA in 1978 and discovered the ever-changing scenes of the American River. She continues to explore and revisit many of Northern California’s landscapes including Yosemite, Monterey vicinity, Lake Tahoe, the Sierra, and the entire coastline. The photo at the right is of her Grandfather doing a headstand on overhanging rock at Glacier Point, Yosemite in 1903.
