I attended Academy of Art University in San Francisco starting out as a 3d animation major. My first two years I spent working on foundation classes and 3d animation and modeling classes. After this I switched majors to Illustration in order to strengthen my drawing and painting skills in both digital and traditional media. My wide range of interests from pop art, classical paintings, and so on allows me to adjust style for each work in whichever way works best. Going to art school taught me the foundations and a more traditional side of art giving me my classical and impressionist side. My life long interest in anime, cartoons, and pop culture in general has added a different side. All of this I try to work together into specific moods, personalities, and feelings through use of color, lighting, expressions, environment, and brush strokes.
